Zika virus in Michigan
Michigan is a state located in the Great Lakes and midwestern regions of the United States. It is the tenth most populous of the United States, with the 11th most extensive total area.
As of 12 February 2016, no cases of Zika virus were confirmed in Michigan. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services urged anyone who believes they may have been exposed to the Zika virus to contact their doctor.
Grand Traverse County
The Grand Traverse County Health Department is taking preventive measures to prevent the spread of Zika virus in the County. The officials of the health department said they are talking to local providers and the emergency room is also screening people for their recent travels.
